(Stand Up To Cancer) Stand Up To Cancer has awarded the $250,000 2020 Laura Ziskin Prize in Translational Research to Dr. Leisha A. Emens, MD, PhD (UPMC Hillman Cancer Center) and Dr. Xiang Zhang, PhD (Baylor College of Medicine), experts in breast cancer immuno-oncology and tumor immunology, to research the availability of immune checkpoint inhibitors for breast cancer patients.
